3 Simple Changes to Make SEO Work for You

1. Become Mobile Friendly

You are losing out on access to roughly half of those using the internet if you haven’t optimized your website to be mobile friendly or responsive. What’s more, a 2015 Google update started penalizing websites that aren’t responsive. Therefore, if you neglect to become mobile-friendly, you’ll likely find it extremely difficult to break into those top search results.

2. Optimize Images

Sophisticated algorithms pick up on more than just content. They also crawl graphics and images, meaning these elements need to be optimized as well. Start by adding alt text, a description and tags for all of the graphics and images found on your page. Doing so will help to improve your SEO ranking.

3. Make Use of Social Media

At this point, it’s safe to say that social media will be with us for quite some time – and the best part is you can use it to your advantage! If you take the time to create a strong presence through social media, you will help your business stand out from the crowd.
