A shout out to all my colleagues back at NTT East, DoCoMo, and the Hakodate Kyoikuenkai in Japan, as well as Japanese friends across the country - congratulations on the Miss Universe 2007 win by Riyo Mori!

While I don't usually follow beauty pageants, I was interested to see Japan with a strong showing. Riyo chan definitely seemed to have a great flair about her... I can imagine that all of Japan is going a bit crazy, from Hokkaido to Kyushu. (Though probably still not as exciting for many as the Japanese baseball players making headlines in the Major League in the US these days... I know many of you are fanatics!)
